About Leadership

Leadership search, built from the inside.

Coreline Search is a founder-led executive search and talent advisory firm serving dealerships, dealer groups, OEMs, manufacturers, vendors, suppliers, and select emerging industry brands across North America. The firm was built around a straightforward belief: leadership decisions deserve more than a resume match and an introduction. They require judgment, context, and a clear understanding of how the business actually operates. That perspective is grounded in firsthand dealership operations and executive search experience across the markets Coreline serves.

Built From Operating Experience

Kevin "Elvis" Vaughn brings nearly 20 years of experience across powersports, dealership operations, and executive search.

His career began on the sales floor and progressed through sales leadership to General Manager at Killer Creek Harley-Davidson, Managing Partner and General Manager at Black Wolf Harley-Davidson, and General Manager at House of Harley-Davidson. Across those roles, he led teams, rebuilt operating cadence, strengthened accountability, aligned departments, and remained directly responsible for the results of the hiring decisions made inside the business.

Before founding Coreline, Elvis also led executive search engagements across the powersports industry, partnering with dealer groups and industry businesses on leadership structure, succession planning, and high-impact hiring.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, he brings a leadership philosophy shaped by discipline, accountability, and operational clarity.

The Job Behind the Title

“Titles may transfer. The job often does not.”

“Titles may transfer. The job often does not.”

A dealership is not one business. It is several businesses operating under one roof — each with its own economics, workflows, personalities, and pressure points.

A General Manager must understand all of them, earn credibility on the floor, and know how decisions made in one department affect the performance of every other department.

That complexity shapes the way Coreline approaches every search. Candidates are not simply matched to a title and forwarded for review. Each engagement is approached with the care, judgment, and operating perspective Elvis would apply if he were making the hire for his own team.

The same principle extends across the industries Coreline serves. Whether the search is for a dealership, dealer group, OEM, manufacturer, or industry partner, the right leader must fit the operating reality of the business — not simply the position description.

A Founder-Led Standard

Coreline accepts a limited number of engagements so each search receives direct attention, thoughtful calibration, and disciplined execution. Every engagement begins with a confidential conversation. The objective is not to generate volume. It is to understand the business, define the leadership need clearly, and approach the search with the level of care the decision deserves. Coreline also supports select candidates through confidential, relationship-driven conversations. The right opportunity is not always advertised, and the right next step is not always obvious from a job posting.

A Note From the Founder

“I built Coreline around a simple standard: I should never recommend a candidate I would not be comfortable hiring myself.”

Leadership decisions do not stay on paper. They affect the people, the culture, and the performance of the business long after the interview ends. Every search deserves that level of care.
